DrWolf is a software development and consultancy company based in Florence, Italy.
Leveraging its language processing and knowledge management competencies, DrWolf delivers state of the art custom software, consultancy and training to customers in several industrial fields including transportation systems manufacturers, governmental sector, patent consultants, public utilities.
DrWolf professionals and researchers gather linguistics and text mining competencies with high level software engineering skills to develop and integrate innovative solutions in the knowledge management field.

DrWolf research activities are carried out in close collaboration with the University of Florence under a long lasting collaboration framework. PatAnalyzer, the flagship DrWolf application for patent analysis, is the most outstanding result of this collaboration. The PatAnalyzer application implements and further extends ideas and methodologies developed by the Department of Mechanics and Industrial Technologies of the University of Florence.
The aforementioned ideas are covered by the EPO patent  IPN EP1351156A1. DrWolf acquired in 2008 the exploitation rights for such patent from the University of Florence.
